The Middle is a show about a tired Mother and Father with 3 kids: Axl, Sue and Brick (chuckle):
Brick loves to read, has old people for friends and people think he's "weird."
Axl is a jock in college and not that good a student
Sue is the "middle child" and she is forgotten ... alot. She tries to be noticed but epically fails.
The parents are Frankie and Mike. Frankie is a loving mother who wants whats best for her family even though they drive her crazy. Mike is tired and the boss of a quarry.
The show is pretty awesome and here's why:
1. Most of the hilarity comes from when Frankie freaks out.
2: Even though Sue is ignored, she keeps trying
3: Even though Brick has quirks, he's awesome... Like Me
4. Axl cares a lot about his reputation. And funny things happen
5. Even though they seem like they always fight, they still love each other
